In our many years of practice, we’ve learned a few things, starting with the fact that no two people have the same exact skin. Right out of the gate, there are 5 different skin types, ranging from dry to oily.
Then there are other factors to plug in, such as whether you have a common skin condition you want to address, like acne, which affects about 50 million Americans of all ages, including adults.
Given this landscape, the team of skin care experts at Magnolia Dermatology, under the direction of Dr. Samantha Robare, is pleased to offer custom facials, as one-size-fits-all solutions aren’t the answer for skin. Instead, we believe that tailoring your skin care treatments and facials to your very specific needs is the best road to vibrant skin that glows with great health.
We mentioned that there are five general skin types, and we want to expand on this a little bit. These skin types include:
These aren’t the only ways we differentiate skin. For example, skin color plays a role, as does the presence of common skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, allergies, and other common problems.
When you add this all together, you can have many different skin variations that call for different treatments, which is where custom facials come in.
As you might imagine, an important part of our custom facial process is sitting down with you to figure out what type of skin you have and what will benefit it most.
For example, if you have oily skin and acne still plagues you as an adult, we will likely suggest a facial that unclogs your pores. Or, you may have extremely dry skin, in which case we suggest a facial that infuses moisture into your skin to make it glow.
It’s impossible to say here what your custom facial would entail, but we want you to know that we pride ourselves on finding the perfect solution for each patient. We offer only clinical-grade products and the latest skin care technologies to truly enhance and support the skin you’re in. Some of these products and services include:
And we continually add to our custom facials as science and technology come together, giving us more great options than ever before for bringing out the best in each patient’s skin.
So, as you run around to make sure everyone has what they need for the holidays, don’t forget to put yourself on that list and gift yourself with a custom facial that meets your skin where it’s at. To set that in motion, please contact our office in Cypress, Texas, to schedule a consultation.
